Accidents are termed to be “undetermined or unpredicted or unexpected and unstopped calamity”. However with careful analysis and steps it could be prevented.

Precaution to check drivers:
1)    Only those who hold the license (above age 18) only have to be allowed to drive the vehicle.
2)    Speed limit of their vehicle should not exclude or reach peak. The punishment for over speed drivers should be severe.

Precautions by government:
1)    To monitor the actions of vehicle, the traffic signal should have a camera and a sensor so that it can determine if the speed is exceeded.
2)    Traffic Rules has been very clear and it has to be stuck as notice in every 1km or 3km.
3)    Awareness of severity of accidents and severe ness of being a part of accident has to be explained clearly via traffic NCC camp, marathon etc.
4)    Once if the driver has made accident then paying fine alone should not be the punishment, government has to snatch off their license so that they cannot drive again. License can be issued after 1year of the offence.

Precautions by public:
1)    Regardless of the person does accident, the person who comes in the opposite direction is also going to be affected, so safety is to be provided.
2)    Wear “helmet” always even it is a short distance. If possible then ask your partner (two-wheeler) also to wear.
3)    Stand for signal, no fast drive through speed breakers, slow down at school crossing zone prone, no rash driving and it is strictly prohibited.
4)    Don’t use cell phones or any kind of electronic item (music player) and drive. Hearing songs the person will not be able to hear the horn sound by other vehicles.
5)    Check whether the vehicle is in condition before every drive.
6)    Don’t ever and never drink and drive or smoke and drive. It has to be avoided at maximum extent.
